Speaking At Our Events
This area contains an overview of the opportunities, advantages, procedures, and guidelines related to making presentations to our membership at luncheon meetings and other events.
The ISSA South Texas Chapter as a non-profit, professional association has adopted a general policy and guidelines for sponsorship and meeting presentations:
Presentations at monthly meetings are generally vendor neutral, security related sessions given by seasoned security professionals. Qualified speakers are not required to be ISSA members. Speakers may be representatives or employees of government, industry, vendors, or service organizations, however, no marketing or sales presentations will be accepted for this forum.
For training purposes, we offer our attendees training credit toward their certifications (1 hour = 1 CPE).
